I have always been a little askew so I figured I might as well run with that in my work.

While I enjoy creating classical shapes and love the precision of a perfectly straight cylinder, I find altering my pieces gives me greater connection with my work and gives it life. This also allows the clay a chance to have some say in how it wants to end up.

Unlike many art forms, ceramics should be touched and held, allowing you to connect physically as well as visually. While I attempt to make my work amazingly priceless the intention is for them to be used in daily life.

I’m constantly exploring new forms and techniques and love new challenges. So if you don’t see what you’re looking for send me a picture or description on the contact page and I would gladly create it for you.

I'm currently working out of La Mano Pottery studio in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan.  All my ceramics are high fired at over 2100° F and are food safe unless otherwise noted. They are also dishwasher, microwave, oven and freezer safe.
